Congratulations to the FBLA high school students who represented our school at the State Conference last week! These students demonstrated outstanding work ethic as they prepared written papers, presentations, and studied for this competition. Their skills continue to grow, and they set the standard for excellence. These leaders and their competitive events are: Bailey & Sawyer - Business Ethics, Jordan & Kaden - Community Service Project, Sering - Intro to Information Technology, Jesse - Digital Animation. Jesse advanced to the final round and placed 12th. Sawyer was recognized for her leadership in serving as a District Officer this past year. We are proud of you!!!!

The students and staff enjoyed a great week of dress up days and reading activities March 23rd-26th sponsored by Miss Camille and the Student Council. It began with a LEGO theme. We ended the week with a Read-a-thon on Thursday afternoon and two contests. One contest was to determine which group, the Kindergarten-4th grades or the 5th-12th grades, read the most minutes in March. This year the older students won. Nice job to both groups! The second contest was an individual event to see which student made the best LEGO build. Mahi Pino was voted to have the best entry. Again, there were many students who put a great deal of effort in and competed. It was a difficult decision. We are proud of everyone who entered.

On Tuesday March 24th, the whole school came together and built a very unique Lego Botanical bouquet! Each grade level was given an age-appropriate flower set to build as a class, and during activity period that day the entire student body got to arrange their contributions! They all worked together as a team, and it came together beautifully! Make sure you stop by the main office and check it out next time you're in the building!
