Burns Junior High Track meet 4/30/2021
Athletes need to be at the school at 7-7:15 AM. The bus will leave at 7:30 AM! All athletes have Mrs. Burke's phone number if an issue comes up in the morning.
The weather looks like it should be pretty warm. Bring sunscreen and a hat! There will be a concession stand at the meet and if we end up getting home late, we will stop by a fast-food restaurant in Pine, if possible.
Field events will start at 9 AM and running events will start at noon. There are a lot of athletes at this event so it might run late. I am hopeful that we will return around 5 PM. I will have athletes get ahold of parents when we leave Burns.
Clay Target team practice cancelled for thunderstorm today 4/27/21

Student councils put on a wonderful Read-A-Thon for the elementary students on Thursday! It was themed after the Magic School Bus books. They had 4 areas: Ocean, Volcano, Dinosaurs and Bat Bus (Cave). Students got to rotate through all areas, read and learn about each one. For more pictures go to the student council page under my teacher page! I would like to thank all the student council members and elementary teachers for their help!

Our Rock Lab class wrote a couple great songs, and today they were submitted to the Little Kids Rock Songwriting Exhibition for the chance to win some sweet prizes! Click the links below to listen to or download their music:
