Hello Pawnee Family! Don't forget to turn your clocks back if you haven't already. See you tomorrow.

Congratulations to our First Quarter Honor Roll Students!

The preschoolers and kindergarteners enjoyed the Halloween party and parade. Thank you to all the parents and family members who privided snacks and treat bags! We would also like to thank Mrs. Haun and her classes for the fun beverage made for the elementary classes!

1st graders made Jack O"Lanterns to wish you a happy Halloween!

TOMORROW IS HALLOWEEN!! Encourage your students to dress up (school appropriate costumes only, please!) and participate in our parade and costume contest! There will be four winners! Parents wanting to come watch the parade and cheer on our students are welcome! The plan is to start it at 3:00 pm. And don't forget to send your students to school tomorrow with their jack-o'-lanterns! Those winners will be announced tomorrow afternoon as well! Let's get spooky, Coyotes! :)

High School students had a great time at Construction Con today! Students had the opportunity to explore the multitude of career opportunities and different pathways into the construction industry and participate in many industry-related games and activities!

NEXT WEEK!! Join us for our pumpkin carving contest on Monday and Tuesday! Have your students bring their completed jack-o'-lantern to school and display it in the lobby. Our judges will deliberate and announce the winners (TEN prizes up for grabs!) at the end of the day on Tuesday! Can't wait to see what our creative Coyotes come up with! :)

The Creative Arts students will be making fun, delicious food items to sell at the Fall Festival on Friday. Proceeds go to the Cody Hutchins memorial fund that will provide support to kids in need. Please come see what they have created and support their efforts by purchasing food items or donating to Cody’s fund.

On Thursday, October 26, Pawnee School will be releasing students and staff at 11:30 for the Celebration of Life Service for student Cody Hutchins. There will be a normal class schedule in the morning and we will be serving lunch before students are released. Buses will be leaving the school at 11:30. Pawnee School will be CLOSED in the afternoon. There will be NO transportation to sports practices. If your student, aged 5th grade and above, would like to attend Cody's Celebration of Life without you, the school is offering transportation to and from the service, which will be held at the Journey Christian Church, 4754 W. 31st Street, Greeley, CO 80634 at 3pm. The bus will leave Pawnee School at 12:45 pm and be returning around 6pm. If your student would like to ride the bus, they need to sign up in the office and return a signed permission slip. The memorial service will be very casual and, in true “Cody style” everyone is encouraged to dress in jeans, boots and t-shirts or Hawaiian shirts. If you have Pawnee logo clothing, please wear it to show the school's united support for the family. Permission Slip https://5il.co/27mb1 Cody's Obituary https://5il.co/27m9u

NO BOOKMOBILE on Thursday, October 19. Unfortunately the Bookmobile is in the shop, so it won't be visiting Pawnee School this week. If you have books checked out, they will be automatically renewed. If you happen to get an overdue notice don't worry, it will be taken care of.

Congratulations Sawyer, Aubrie, and their Falcon Teammates! The Falcon Jr. High volleyball teams took home A and B Championship trophies this past weekend! "A" team ended their 2023 season undefeated in league and 9-1 at the tournament. "B" 8-2. The C team also won each set in their pool!
Woohoo Falcons, and our own Coyote athletes!

THIS SATURDAY!! Join us as we close out our Homecoming Week 2023 with a bonfire! There will be corn hole, volleyball, and an overall sense of community. Not to mention free s'mores and hot chocolate! Our four high school classes are also offering hamburgers and hot dogs for donations. We hope to see all of our current students and staff, as well as alumni and the greater Grover community that supports us so generously. See you there! :)

Second graders have been learning about the Oregon Trail. The class made their own covered wagons this afternoon.
