First and second grade students enjoyed listening and following along to Halloween audio books.
Please join the Pawnee School District on Monday night as the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society sets up on the football field with telescopes for an evening dedicated to observing planets and stargazing. We will serve a free pulled pork meal and chips at 6 p.m., followed by stargazing activities from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We encourage families and the community to come and enjoy this wonderful opportunity.
THIS SATURDAY!!! 10/26 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm join us at the school for a night of spooky fun! The four high school classes are hosting a Halloween Carnival as a fundraiser for their class trips! We hope to see everyone there!
SATURDAY 10/19! Our annual Homecoming bonfire will take place on the football field from 7 to 10 pm! StuCo is providing s'mores for everyone! There will be music and flag football and cornhole! Bring your friends for some fun as we close out Homecoming week! :)
All of the art classes have been busy working on Georgia O'Keeffe inspired pastel paintings. The Elementary students also made some cute 3D haunted houses.
THURSDAY 10/17!! Pawnee Pride Day! Show your school spirit by wearing red, black, and white! The activity will be a staff vs students volleyball game! :)
WEDNESDAY 10/16! Crazy hair day! We will play extreme heads or tails in the gym for our activity today!
TUESDAY 10/15! Pre-K through 5th grade, dress as Senior Citizens. 6th grade through 12th grade, dress as babies. Staff dress as teenagers! We will have an all-age recess during activity period!

Our first Spirit Day for Homecoming Week 2024 is next Monday, 10/14! "Opposite Day" can be interpreted however you see fit! Just wear the opposite of whatever you usually wear! :) *And remember, friends...all Spirit Day outfits must still abide by the school dress code!* Our school-wide activity on Monday will be Hungry, Hungry Hippos in the gym! Let's have some fun!
