On Thursday, October 26, Pawnee School will be releasing students and staff at 11:30 for the Celebration of Life Service for student Cody Hutchins. There will be a normal class schedule in the morning and we will be serving lunch before students are released. Buses will be leaving the school at 11:30. Pawnee School will be CLOSED in the afternoon. There will be NO transportation to sports practices. If your student, aged 5th grade and above, would like to attend Cody's Celebration of Life without you, the school is offering transportation to and from the service, which will be held at the Journey Christian Church, 4754 W. 31st Street, Greeley, CO 80634 at 3pm. The bus will leave Pawnee School at 12:45 pm and be returning around 6pm. If your student would like to ride the bus, they need to sign up in the office and return a signed permission slip. The memorial service will be very casual and, in true “Cody style” everyone is encouraged to dress in jeans, boots and t-shirts or Hawaiian shirts. If you have Pawnee logo clothing, please wear it to show the school's united support for the family. Permission Slip https://5il.co/27mb1 Cody's Obituary https://5il.co/27m9u

NO BOOKMOBILE on Thursday, October 19. Unfortunately the Bookmobile is in the shop, so it won't be visiting Pawnee School this week. If you have books checked out, they will be automatically renewed. If you happen to get an overdue notice don't worry, it will be taken care of.

A few of the high school Life Skills students and their finished pillows! I am so proud of the 7-12 graders. Almost every pillow is done! They have all done a great job and learned some sewing skills. Between the two class periods, 16 students sewed pillows. Thank you to Bobbi Hoffman and Paula Tietmeyer for their fabric donations which gave the kids lots of color and design choices. A special thank you to Mrs. Rita Johnston for helping students print their favorite images to the pillowtops.
